Silver Miners Have Outrun Silver Since 2020

Since March 2020, silver has returned about 402%. The silver miners returned 445%.
That gap is the leverage our research team focuses on. When silver rises, a producer's net asset value can rise much faster, and share prices tend to follow. It works in both directions, and a mine is only as good as the company running it.
The Ultimate Silver Playbook shows how the team separates the miners worth owning from the rest, and which silver stocks are on its watchlist now. It's free.

🗳️ Early Voting Now Underway in Lake County
Lake County voters can now cast their ballots ahead of the November 3 general election, with early in-person voting officially underway.
Early voting began Tuesday, October 6, at the Lake County Board of Elections, 105 Main St., Suite 107, in Painesville. Voting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, October 9.
The same weekday hours continue through October 23. Later in the month, voters will also have extended evening hours plus Saturday and Sunday voting opportunities, giving residents several options to cast a ballot before Election Day.
On Tuesday, November 3, polls across Lake County will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Residents can check the Lake County Board of Elections website for the complete early-voting schedule and other election information.
🏠 39 Lake County Properties Receive Lead-Safety Improvements
Thirty-nine Lake County properties where families and children live or spend time received lead-safety renovations through a $1.3 million program that has now been completed.
Lake County says it fully spent its $1.303 million Lead Safe Ohio allocation on qualifying homes, congregate shelters and childcare centers during the three-year initiative.
The work primarily addressed older building components that can become lead-paint hazards as they deteriorate. Projects included the repair or replacement of wood windows, exterior doors and siding, with the county reporting an average renovation cost of nearly $30,000 per property.
The program was part of the statewide Lead Safe Ohio initiative, which directed funding toward reducing lead hazards in older homes and facilities. Lake County's portion of the program concluded in August.
The improvements represent a tangible local result: dozens of properties received repairs intended to reduce potential exposure to deteriorating lead-based paint, particularly in places used by young children and families.
One important detail remains unknown: Lake County has not identified the 39 properties by community, so it is unclear how many, if any, were located in Mentor or Mentor-on-the-Lake.

🌿LIVE BETTER: What Makes a Walking Shoe Comfortable for Your Foot?
The best walking shoe is not a universal model or brand. A better choice starts with how the shoe fits your foot, feels when you walk and matches the way you plan to use it.
A comfortable walking shoe does not have to be the shoe everyone recommends. It has to fit your foot, feel good when you walk and make sense for how you plan to use it.
A simple way to judge a pair is to remember four things: toes, heel, walk, purpose.
Start with your toes. When you stand, they should have room to move without feeling pinched from the sides or pressed against the front or top of the shoe. The widest part of your foot should sit comfortably in the widest part of the shoe.
Next, notice the heel. Walk in both shoes. Your heel should feel secure rather than sliding up and down, but the back of the shoe should not rub, pinch or create a pressure point.
Then pay attention to the walk itself. Does your stride feel natural? Do you keep noticing one tight spot? A shoe should feel comfortable when you try it on; it should not depend on a painful “break-in” period.
Finally, think about purpose. Shoes for neighborhood walks may feel different from shoes you want for travel, long days on your feet, a treadmill or uneven outdoor paths. Try them with the socks or inserts you normally use. And treat the size on the box as a starting point, not a verdict—fit can vary among shoes, and your two feet may not be exactly the same size.
Preferences matter, too. You may like more cushioning, a firmer feel or a roomier toe area. That is different from persistent pain, numbness, swelling or discomfort that changes the way you walk.
If finding a comfortable fit remains difficult, a knowledgeable fitter can help compare sizes, widths and shoe shapes. Persistent or worsening symptoms deserve professional evaluation rather than continued shoe experimentation.
Remember: toes, heel, walk, purpose. The best choice is the one that works comfortably for your feet and your everyday movement.

Which muscle group is primarily responsible for straightening your knee during exercises such as squats or lunges?
🐝 Buzz Fact: During a squat, several of your body’s largest muscles work together to lower and raise you — which explains why sitting down is effortless, but standing back up after “just one more set” can suddenly require negotiations with your legs, your knees, and a quick prayer! 😄
