Your K-Cup Has Been Sitting in a Warehouse for Months
That grocery store pod? It was roasted long before it hit the shelf. Coffee starts losing flavor within weeks of roasting — which is why your morning cup tastes flat, no matter how nice your machine is.
Angelino's does it differently. A third-generation roaster in Los Angeles, they roast, grind, and seal every pod in-house for peak freshness, then ship it to your door within days of roasting. The difference is the first thing you'll notice: real aroma, real flavor, no bitterness.
Mix and match from 50+ specialty coffees, teas, and flavored blends — all Keurig®-compatible — and save more with every box you add, up to 34% off at 12+. Order once whenever you're running low, or subscribe for an extra 5% if that's easier. Entirely up to you.
New customers get 15% off their first order — applied automatically, no code needed.

📰 Morton Salt Halts Fairport Harbor Mining After Water Intrusion
All workers evacuated safely; shutdown raises questions about local jobs and winter road-salt supplies.
Morton Salt has stopped mining at its Fairport Harbor facility after a significant amount of water entered the underground mine, shutting down one of Lake County's important industrial operations.
The company discovered the water intrusion Thursday, October 22, and immediately evacuated miners, stopped underground operations and notified regulators. All workers were evacuated safely, with no injuries reported.
Morton announced the shutdown Monday, October 26. Independent experts and regulatory authorities are investigating the incident, and aboveground operations will be severely limited.
What about winter road salt?
The Fairport Harbor mine supplies rock salt to six Ohio counties, including Lake County.
According to FOX 8, the Ohio Department of Transportation reports having approximately 624,000 tons of road salt in storage statewide, representing 73% of its capacity. ODOT says it remains confident in its winter preparations while evaluating the shutdown's potential effects.
That does not necessarily reflect the supplies held by individual cities.
Meanwhile, News 5 Cleveland reports that Painesville plans additional water testing strictly as a precaution. No drinking-water contamination has been reported.
Morton has also declared a force majeure event affecting customers and vendors.
What happens next?
The cause of the water intrusion, the shutdown's duration and any effects on employees remain unknown. Morton has not announced a permanent closure.
➡️ Our full report explains the federal safety investigation, the six counties served by the mine and what the state's salt inventory means for local roads.

🌿LIVE BETTER: When Your Eyes Feel Tired, Check the Setup Around Your Screen
Glare, small text and direct airflow can make screen time uncomfortable. A few observations can help you adjust your setup—and recognize when to seek care.
By late afternoon, you’re leaning toward your laptop, enlarging a spreadsheet and rubbing your eyes. Before buying another screen accessory, check the conditions around the device you already use.
Start with reflections. A window or overhead light shining across your monitor can make viewing uncomfortable. Adjusting a shade, moving a lamp or changing the screen’s angle may help. Set brightness so the display isn’t glaring against a dim room.
Next, check the text. Can you read it comfortably without leaning forward? For a desktop monitor, start roughly an arm’s length away, with the screen positioned so your gaze angles slightly downward. Adjust the text size for comfortable reading.
Give your eyes opportunities to look farther away. The American Optometric Association recommends the 20-20-20 habit: every 20 minutes, look about 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds. Remember to blink fully, too.
Notice airflow from a fan, heating vent or air conditioner. Redirecting it away from your face may help with dryness. If you wear contacts, note whether discomfort occurs during lens wear.
Try one change and jot down what happens during an ordinary task. For example: “I enlarged the spreadsheet text and stopped leaning forward.” Note whether discomfort continues after you leave the screen. That gives an eye-care professional something more useful than “My eyes feel tired.”
These observations can help you describe a problem; they cannot diagnose it. Arrange an eye-care appointment if discomfort keeps returning, affects daily activities or includes persistent blurred vision.
Sudden vision loss, new flashes or many new floaters, a curtain-like shadow, or severe eye pain need immediate medical evaluation.
Contact-lens wearers should remove their lenses and call an eye doctor immediately for unusual redness or irritation, pain, light sensitivity, sudden blurred vision, or unusual watering or discharge.
Start with one screen and one practical adjustment.
➡️ Find what’s making your screen harder to use with our seven-point worksheet—plus a simple symptom log and questions to bring to your next eye-care appointment.
