πŸŒƒ Spectacular Northern Lights Display Seen From Ohio Last Night

Courtesy: Kathy Szappanos

Last night, Ohio residents got a rare celestial treat as the northern lights, or Aurora Borealis, made a spectacular appearance in the sky. This stunning display, usually seen in higher latitudes, graced the Ohio horizon with vibrant colors ranging from green to purple, caused by the interaction of the Earth's magnetic field with charged solar particles. The phenomenon, seen shortly after sunset, was expected to peak during the darkest hours. Observers were encouraged to find spots away from city lights for the best view of this dazzling natural light show. The northern lights promised to offer a breathtaking backdrop for photographers and sky watchers alike, adding a touch of magic to the night sky over Ohio. Thank you to Kathy Szappanos for the amazing image above!
