Queen Nation kicked off the Annual Mentor Rocks concert series with a spectacular performance that drew an estimated 12,000 enthusiastic fans.  📰 Dartmoor National Park Delegates Visit Garfield Historic Site in Mentor

This morning, representatives from Dartmoor National Park in Devon, England, were warmly welcomed to the James A. Garfield National Historic Site in Mentor. The visit is part of Dartmoor's exploration of a potential "sister-park" relationship with Cuyahoga Valley National Park, of which the Garfield site is a regional component.

JAGNHS Site Manager Todd Arrington and Mentor's Director of Economic Development and International Trade Kevin Malecek greeted the Dartmoor representatives. They discussed the city’s ongoing connections with UK businesses, highlighting Bloc Digital, which established its North American operations in Mentor earlier this year.

As a gesture of goodwill, Director Malecek presented each visitor with a City of Mentor challenge coin, featuring the likeness of President James A. Garfield, before leading them on a tour of the historic home. The city hopes the Dartmoor representatives enjoy their stay in Mentor.
