The FDA has issued a recall for 3,551 bags of Green Tripe dog treats from TDBBS LLC due to potential metal contamination. Sold under "Barkworthies" and "Best Bully Sticks" brands, the affected products were distributed nationally from February to May 2024. No injuries have been reported, but pet owners should monitor their dogs for illness and contact a veterinarian if needed. 🏘️Ohio Home Sales Are Up, Prices Also Increase 9.1%

According to a report by Ohio Realtors, the Ohio housing market saw a notable increase in activity in May, with home sales rising by 3.2 percent compared to the same month last year. In May 2024, there were 12,642 home sales, up from 12,246 in May 2023. The average sales price across the state reached $305,041, marking a 9.1% increase from $279,686 in the previous year. This surge in both sales and prices highlights a strong demand and confidence in Ohio's real estate market.

The President of Ohio REALTORS, Ali Whitley, commented on the positive trend, emphasizing that the increase reflects the enduring value of homeownership and the importance of professional guidance from REALTORS in navigating the complex buying and selling process. Notably, 13 out of 14 markets tracked showed an increase in average sale prices compared to May 2023.

For the first four months of 2024, home sales activity increased by 3.0% compared to the same period in 2023. Year-to-date sales from January to May 2024 reached 50,131, up from 48,672 homes sold a year ago. The average sales price for this period was $280,414, an 8.4% rise from $258,715 in 2023.

John Force, 75, was hospitalized after a high-speed crash at the NHRA Virginia Nationals. Force escaped a fiery crash following a 302 mph run. He was taken to a hospital for further evaluation. Force, a 46-year veteran of NHRA, has 157 titles and 16 championships. He is currently second in the 2024 NHRA Funny Car standings. His team includes his daughter, Brittany Force, a two-time NHRA Top Fuel champion.
