Among the Blue Angels this year are two distinguished members with personal ties to the event. Natalia Luchetti, who has served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years, is responsible for ensuring that Blue Angels No. 2 delivers an elite performance at air shows across the nation. She hopes the team's excellence will inspire onlookers, emphasizing that the goal isn’t recruitment but rather encouraging people to strive for excellence in their own lives.

Grant Causey, a native of Ohio, is making his hometown debut as a member of the Blue Angels. Representing his state, Causey is eager to showcase his skills and contribute to the team's proud tradition.

Established in 1946, the Blue Angels have been demonstrating the abilities of America’s service members for nearly eight decades. This weekend, they continue that mission, offering a source of pride for Ohioans like Causey and Puerto Ricans like Luchetti, both of whom are honored to represent the best of what America has to offer.

Jim Donovan, the iconic voice of the Cleveland Browns, has announced that he is stepping down from his role as the team's radio broadcaster. In a heartfelt letter to fans released by the team on Thursday, Donovan revealed that his battle with cancer has taken a serious turn, necessitating his full focus on treatment.

Donovan, who has been the voice of the Browns since the team's return in 1999, shared that despite undergoing numerous treatments, his cancer has aggressively returned. "This will require me to devote everything I have in me to continue the fight," he stated, emphasizing his commitment to facing this challenge alongside his family.

During the 2023 season, Donovan had to take a brief leave for treatment but continued to call games as much as possible. His departure marks the end of an era for Browns fans, who have cherished his passionate and energetic commentary for over two decades.

Dee and Jimmy Haslam, the Browns' managing and principal partners, expressed their deep gratitude for Donovan's contributions, noting how he embodies the spirit of Cleveland. They praised his dedication, professionalism, and the positive impact he has had on everyone he encounters, whether through his broadcasts or in person.

In addition to his role with the Browns, Donovan retired earlier this year from WKYC-TV, where he had served as the sports director and anchor since 1985.
