⚙️ Snively Inc’s 32-Year Journey: Technology, Community, and Revolutionizing Efficiency

Snively Inc: Pioneering RFID Technology and Custom Software Integration for Over Three Decades

In Mentor, Ohio, one company has quietly but powerfully reshaped the way industries track, manage, and optimize their operations. With 32 years of expertise, Snively Inc combines cutting-edge technology with a human touch, delivering bespoke software solutions that help businesses work smarter, not harder.

On a crisp morning in Mentor, Ohio, the hum of industry fills the air along Tyler Boulevard. It’s here, at 7980 Tyler Blvd, that Snively Inc has spent the past three decades revolutionizing technology solutions for manufacturing and distribution. While its headquarters might suggest a conventional business, the innovations coming from Snively Inc are anything but ordinary.

Founded by Rich Snively, a seasoned software engineer with deep expertise in project management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Snively Inc has built its reputation on transforming complexity into simplicity. The company specializes in custom software design and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology, seamlessly integrating these tools to save businesses time, money, and frustration.

Origins in Engineering Excellence

Snively’s journey began 32 years ago, during a period when software development was still finding its footing in manufacturing environments. “I’ve always been fascinated by how technology can improve processes,” says Snively, reflecting on his early days in the industry.

With a background rooted in complex manufacturing and distribution systems, he identified a critical gap in the market: the need for highly customized, user-friendly solutions that cater to the unique demands of industrial clients. This realization spurred the launch of Snively Inc, a company that has since grown into a trusted partner for businesses nationwide.

Revolutionizing Asset Management

At the heart of Snively offerings is its flagship solution: the Snively Information System (SIS). Designed to streamline asset tracking through RFID technology, SIS eliminates the inefficiencies that plague traditional inventory management systems.

“Our SIS platform is a game-changer,” Snively explains. “With RFID, we’re able to provide clients with real-time visibility of their assets, whether they’re using fixed readers, mobile readers, or a combination of both. It’s about empowering businesses to focus on growth rather than wasting time tracking items.”

The SIS platform also boasts a high degree of flexibility. For clients with unique requirements, Snively Inc develops custom Android applications that integrate seamlessly with SIS, ensuring every need is met. Whether managing tools on a factory floor or inventory in a warehouse, the system drastically reduces downtime and operational costs.

Standing Out in a Competitive Field

What sets Snively Inc apart from its competitors is not just its technical expertise but its personalized approach to problem-solving. “We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions,” Snively says. “Every business is different, and our goal is to provide systems that work for them, not the other way around.”

This philosophy has helped Snively Inc build long-term relationships with clients, many of whom rely on the company’s expertise to navigate the challenges of modernization.

Beyond its RFID solutions, Snively Inc also excels in ERP migrations, software development, and hardware sales, offering clients a comprehensive suite of services.

A Commitment to Community

Snively Inc’s impact extends beyond the businesses it serves. For years, the company has been an active participant in the local Mentor community, sponsoring youth baseball and hockey teams.

“I believe in giving back,” says Snively. “Supporting local programs is our way of investing in the future and ensuring we’re contributing to something larger than ourselves.”

These sponsorships are a testament to the company’s values: innovation paired with a strong sense of responsibility to its community.

Looking Ahead

As technology continues to evolve, so too does Snively Inc. While no major product launches are currently on the horizon, the company is committed to staying at the forefront of software and RFID advancements. Snively is also focused on deepening client relationships and finding new ways to help businesses adapt to an increasingly digital landscape.

“Our goal has always been to make our clients’ lives easier,” Snively says. “As long as we’re doing that, I know we’re on the right path.”

With a legacy built on expertise, innovation, and integrity, Snively Inc is poised to remain a leader in the software and technology space for years to come.

🏀 Late Rally Falls Short as Cavs Stumble Against Shorthanded Pistons

The Cleveland Cavaliers fell 133-122 to the Detroit Pistons on Friday, unable to overcome an early deficit despite a fourth-quarter surge led by Donovan Mitchell, who scored 22 of his 38 points in the final frame.

Hoping to extend a 12-game win streak over Detroit and boost playoff positioning, the Cavs were instead outpaced by a Pistons team missing star guard Cade Cunningham. Cleveland struggled with turnovers and rebounding from the start, giving up 15 turnovers that led to 25 fast-break points.

Tim Hardaway Jr. led Detroit with 32 points and seven threes, while seven Pistons scored in double figures. The Cavs surrendered 16 offensive rebounds and 24 second-chance points, exposing ongoing issues on the glass. Outside of Mitchell and Darius Garland (21 points), the Cavs lacked scoring depth, especially with Max Strus and Ty Jerome sidelined.

Cleveland cut a 21-point deficit to two late in the fourth, but couldn’t complete the comeback. The loss underscores a challenging March stretch filled with travel and limited practice, as the team hasn’t played back-to-back games in the same city since February.

🥍 Mentor Lacrosse Opens Season with Win, Falls in Home Debut

The Mentor Cardinals boys lacrosse team opened its 2025 campaign with a strong win on the road before facing a setback at home to close out the week.

On Thursday, the Cardinals kicked off the season with a 9-5 victory over St. Vincent-St. Mary. Patrick Zigman led the offensive charge with four goals, while Carter Collins added two of his own. Aidan Bohnic, Louie Harps, and Kane Rocco each chipped in one goal. Assists came from Ben Schenk, Harps, Ray Troha, and Ryan Wilkinson.

In goal, CJ Lobue turned in a solid performance, stopping 10 of 15 shots to help secure the team’s first win of the season.

But less than 24 hours later, in their home opener on Friday, the Cardinals ran into a tough Strongsville squad and fell 11-3. Mentor struggled to generate consistent offense against the Mustangs’ defense.

Ben Schenk scored twice and Zigman added one goal. Carter Collins and Aidan Bohnic each recorded assists. Lobue faced a barrage of shots, making 18 saves on 29 attempts in a valiant effort between the pipes. Now sitting at 1-1, the Cardinals will look to regroup and prepare for NDCL.
