Space is limited, and registration is required. To reserve a spot, call 440-257-2000.

🛣️ New Northeast Ohio Trails Could Link Parks and Communities
NOACA Seeks Public Feedback on Regional Trail Plan
The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) is working to connect county park systems in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina counties through a unified trail network. Led by OHM Advisors, the plan aims to reduce reliance on cars, cut emissions, and enhance access to parks and community resources.
The initiative addresses gaps in the region’s fragmented trails, offering recreation, health benefits, and improved quality of life. “Trails raise property values and decrease crime,” said OHM Principal Matt Hil, highlighting their community value.
At a public meeting Wednesday, residents shared feedback and reviewed proposed routes. Amherst resident Bev Muzilla voiced concerns about a trail near her neighborhood, while Bay Village resident Pat Nortz suggested repurposing a utility easement for additional trails.
Trail connectivity supports growing demand for micro mobility options, such as walking, biking, and e-scooters, explained Cleveland resident Laura McShane.
Public feedback is being accepted online through December 20 to shape final recommendations. Provide your feedback here.

🏀 Cavaliers Cruise to 14-0 Start with Record-Breaking Win Over Bulls
On Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers achieved a historic milestone, extending their record-breaking start to 14-0 with a dominant 144-126 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Friday night in an NBA Cup matchup. Donovan Mitchell led the charge with a season-high 37 points, while Darius Garland added 29 in a performance that showcased the Cavs’ offensive firepower.
This unbeaten streak makes Cleveland the sixth team in NBA history to reach 14-0 and the first since the Golden State Warriors' legendary 24-0 start in the 2015-16 season. The streak is also the longest in the Cavaliers’ 55-year history, surpassing their previous best of 13 consecutive wins during LeBron James' tenure.
Jarrett Allen contributed 24 points, and Caris LeVert chipped in 22 as Cleveland thrived under first-year coach Kenny Atkinson. Despite being short-handed without starting forward Evan Mobley, who missed the game due to illness, the team maintained its intensity and cohesion.
The Bulls stayed competitive for much of the game, with Coby White scoring 29 and Nikola Vucevic contributing 25 points. Chicago pulled within four points late in the fourth quarter, but a pair of critical 3-pointers from LeVert and Mitchell ignited a 21-7 Cavs run to seal the victory.
The Cavaliers broke a franchise record with 49 points in the first quarter, setting the tone early. Mitchell continued his brilliance in the fourth, scoring Cleveland’s first nine points of the quarter and finishing with 18 in the period.
Up next, Cleveland will host the Houston Rockets on Sunday, aiming to keep their unbeaten streak alive.
