🏘️ Lake County Homes Selling $42,633 Over List Price in Just 5 Days

Kate & Rob Minton
In a housing market where many sellers hope just to get close to asking price, a local father-daughter real estate duo is consistently breaking the mold—closing home sales in just five days and often for well above list price.
Meet Rob and Kate Minton, licensed Realtors with eXp Realty, have officially rolled out their proprietary “5-Day System,” a home-selling strategy that’s proving to be anything but ordinary. Their last three listings—located in Mentor, Eastlake, and Euclid—sold for a combined $127,400 over list price, averaging more than nine offers each.
The results speak for themselves:
Mentor home sold for $48,100 over asking
Eastlake property brought in $35,100 above list
Euclid sale exceeded expectations by $44,200
Their unique system combines strategic listing schedules, transparent offer competition, and psychological buyer engagement to help local homeowners sell their homes in just five days—significantly above asking price. With a 100% success rate and average sale prices coming in more than 36% over list, the Mintons' method is quickly gaining traction as a game-changer in the local real estate scene.
Want to see how local homes are flying off the market in under 5 days—often for tens of thousands over asking? Click to understand more about how the 5-Day System works and how you can see it in action.

⚾ Ramírez Powers Guardians Past Angels as Williams Flirts With No-Hitter
The Cleveland Guardians leaned on a powerful fourth inning and a dominant outing from Gavin Williams to secure a 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday, clinching the weekend series at Progressive Field.
José Ramírez powered the offense with a solo home run to right-center, marking his 11th of the season. His blast opened the scoring in a pivotal fourth inning that saw the Guardians bring in three runs. Nolan Jones followed with a two-run single to extend the lead.
On the mound, Williams was nearly untouchable, taking a no-hitter into the sixth before allowing a single to Zach Neto. The right-hander gave up just one hit over 6 2/3 innings and recorded six strikeouts. Both of the runs scored against him were unearned.
Reliever Emmanuel Clase closed the game with a flawless ninth inning, locking down his 13th save of the season.
The Angels attempted a late push, with Mike Trout contributing an RBI single in the seventh inning. Trout, who had recently returned from a left knee injury, went 5-for-10 over the three-game series.
The win highlighted Ramírez’s impressive consistency at the plate. He extended his on-base streak to 28 games and is hitting .394 over that span with six home runs and a 1.115 OPS.
⚾ Captains Let Lead Slip Late in 7-6 Loss to Kernels
The Lake County Captains couldn’t hold onto a late lead and fell to the Cedar Rapids Kernels in a tightly contested 7-6 loss on Sunday.
Lake County struck first in the opening inning after a chaotic sequence allowed Alfonsin Rosario to score on a throwing error and Ralphy Velazquez to swipe second base. But the Kernels quickly responded in the bottom half, with a pair of doubles from Nate Baez and Danny De Andrade giving Cedar Rapids a 3-1 lead.
The Captains chipped away with a run in the third on a Jacob Cozart double, then continued their push in the fifth with a string of hits. Ralphy Velazquez, Cozart, and Jose Devers each drove in runs, helping Lake County tie the game at five.
In the top of the eighth, the Captains grabbed a 6-5 lead thanks to a fielder’s choice that allowed Jacob Cozart to score. But Cedar Rapids answered in the bottom of the frame, drawing a bases-loaded walk to even the score.
With the game tied in the ninth, the Kernels secured the walk-off win when Brandon Winokur delivered a single to left, plating Payton Eeles and ending the game 7-6.
Lake County's offensive efforts were highlighted by Cozart, who drove in two runs and scored twice. However, it wasn’t enough to fend off Cedar Rapids' timely hitting and late-game persistence.
