🎆 July 4th in Mentor: Amphitheater Concert, Food Trucks, and Fireworks

Mentor is set to light up the sky this Friday, July 4, 2025, with a full evening of entertainment at the Civic Amphitheater. Beginning at 7:00 PM, the amphitheater will come alive with music from ESCAPE, a tribute band that brings the iconic sound of Journey to the stage. The celebration wraps up with a dazzling 25-minute fireworks display scheduled to launch around 9:50 PM.

Festival-goers are welcome to arrive as early as 5:00 PM, with food trucks starting service at 5:30 PM near the amphitheater. Beer, wine, and sparkling beverages will also be available for purchase until 9:45 PM for those 21 and older. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable seating, and coolers with non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. However, outside alcohol, glass containers, and pets are not allowed on the premises.

This year marks a change in the fireworks launch site, moving from Mentor High School to the Civic Center ballfields. Despite the new location, the display will remain visible from both the Civic Center Park Complex and Mentor High School.

Restroom facilities are available throughout the event area, including portable units placed strategically across the grounds. On-site parking can be found at several city facilities, and accessible parking is available near the Municipal Center and Police Department. Attendees are advised to obey all parking regulations to avoid citations.

Road closures will begin at 6:00 PM, with Munson Road shut down between Hopkins Road and Civic Center Boulevard. Additional traffic restrictions will follow, particularly surrounding the fireworks display, so patience and caution are urged as crowds depart the event.

With live music, local food, and a show-stopping fireworks finale, Mentor’s annual Independence Day celebration offers something for everyone. Families and friends are invited to come together for a festive evening under the stars.
