🏘️ Dill Green Is the Fresh, Earthy Hue Designers Can’t Get Enough Of

Dill Green Is Set to Dominate Home Design—Here’s Why Everyone Loves It
A fresh, botanical hue is taking over homes this season: dill green. Named the color of summer 2025 by Pinterest, this earthy shade is more than a seasonal favorite—it’s quickly becoming a year-round staple.
Dill green offers a refreshing contrast to the overuse of neutrals like gray and beige. It brings to mind herb gardens, vintage apothecaries, and late summer light—delivering both warmth and a subtle sense of nostalgia. Unlike bright neons or cool sages, this shade feels grounded yet full of personality.
Designers love dill green for its versatility. Whether applied boldly across a room or in small accents, it blends effortlessly with a variety of styles. It's particularly popular in kitchens and butler’s pantries, where green cabinetry brings energy to neutral spaces. In bathrooms and bedrooms, it pairs beautifully with soft blues, pinks, and natural wood tones.
For a low-commitment approach, try incorporating dill green through accessories like pillows, curtain trims, vases, or lamps. It also works well with organic materials—think oak, linen, and rattan—for a natural, cohesive look.
Tablescapes are another way to embrace the trend. From green glassware to floral centerpieces, dill green adds elegance and charm to outdoor entertaining.
As the push for nature-inspired design continues, dill green is emerging as a go-to color. It’s stylish, calming, and effortlessly brings the outdoors in.

🏘️ Raising the Roof, One Home at a Time:
How CRS Roofing Built a Business on Trust and Family Values

In Mentor, Ohio, a family-run roofing company has become a cornerstone of quality, integrity, and craftsmanship in Northeast Ohio’s home improvement scene.
MENTOR, Ohio — On a crisp summer morning, the rhythmic thud of hammers echoes through a quiet residential street as a team of workers installs a new roof. At the edge of the driveway, Mario Juarez, founder and owner of CRS Roofing LLC, surveys the site with calm assurance. He’s done this hundreds of times, but to him, every job still matters.
“When we put a roof on someone’s home,” Juarez says, “we’re protecting a family, their memories, everything they’ve worked for.”
Founded in 2019, CRS Roofing has grown into one of Northeast Ohio’s most trusted roofing and exterior service providers. But despite that growth, the company has remained grounded in its original mission: quality craftsmanship, honest work, and treating every customer like a neighbor.
From the Ground Up
CRS Roofing began as a family-run operation with decades of experience behind it. After working in the roofing industry for years, Juarez launched the business with a simple goal—doing things the right way. His son now manages the roofing crews, and his daughter leads social media and branding efforts.
“The idea was never to become the biggest,” Juarez says. “It was to be the best. And to build something we could all be proud of.”
Word-of-mouth quickly spread across Mentor and the surrounding communities. Neighbors shared stories of the company that showed up on time, cleaned up after the job, and delivered top-notch results.
What Sets CRS Roofing Apart
In an industry where subcontracting is the norm, CRS Roofing takes a hands-on, local approach. Every installer is an in-house employee—trained, insured, and OSHA-certified.
“We don’t hand your home over to strangers,” Juarez says. “Our team is our family, and that makes a big difference in the quality and accountability of the work we do.”
CRS specializes in residential and commercial roofing, as well as gutters, siding, and windows. Their customers love the range of materials—everything from 30-year shingles to sleek metal roofing—combined with expert guidance and attention to detail.
“Our goal is to provide real solutions,” Juarez adds. “Not shortcuts, not band-aids. Just quality that lasts.”
Trust, Integrity, and Craftsmanship
CRS Roofing’s steady growth is rooted in one thing: trust. Homeowners consistently praise the company’s honesty, professionalism, and dedication to doing the job right.
“We treat every home like it’s our own,” Juarez says. “That’s why people call us back—and tell their friends to call us, too.”
The company’s five-star reviews across social media and online platforms reflect not just satisfaction, but true appreciation for a team that genuinely cares.
The Crew Behind the Craft
While Juarez is the founder and face of CRS Roofing, he gives full credit to his team.
“The real magic happens because of our crew,” he says. “They show up early, work hard, and take pride in what they do.”
Many team members have been with the company from the beginning. Training, safety, and a sense of ownership are built into the company’s DNA.
Looking Ahead
CRS Roofing isn’t chasing fast growth—it’s focused on steady expansion rooted in the same family values it started with. Juarez envisions broadening exterior services and potentially opening another location to serve more of Northeast Ohio.
“We’re not just here to put up roofs,” he says. “We’re here to build something lasting—relationships, homes, and a company our kids can be proud of.”
Or as Mario Juarez likes to say:
“If it’s not CRS, then it’s not the best.”

⚾ Guardians Edge Mets in 10-Inning Thriller Despite Alonso’s Big Night
Guardians Fend Off Mets in Extras After Letting Lead Slip
The Cleveland Guardians held off a late Mets surge to secure a 7-6 win in 10 innings Monday night at Citi Field, opening their interleague series on a high note.
Cleveland broke a scoreless game wide open with a five-run sixth inning. David Fry and Carlos Santana delivered RBI singles before Gabriel Arias launched a 440-foot, three-run homer off Mets starter Sean Manaea, who had cruised through five innings before unraveling.
Though the Mets responded with Pete Alonso's solo homer—his 251st career shot—and later tied the game in the eighth, the Guardians capitalized on extra-inning pressure. Daniel Schneemann scored the go-ahead run in the 10th after a throwing error on Fry’s bunt, and Arias added a key sacrifice fly.
Reliever Cade Smith escaped a ninth-inning jam by striking out Alonso and forcing a lineout, while Nic Enright closed it out for his first career save despite a late Mets run.
Slade Cecconi allowed three runs (two earned) over six innings with six strikeouts, helping set the tone early.
