📺 Spectrum Upgrade Leaves Some Without Mentor Channel Access
Residents who want to stay informed about local government meetings are encouraged to download the Mentor Channel app after recent cable changes affected some viewers.
City officials say many Spectrum customers who upgraded to newer digital set-top boxes or the Xumo Stream Box no longer receive the Mentor Channel through their cable service.
The Mentor Channel has televised City Council and Planning Commission meetings since 1990, giving residents access to important community discussions. As viewing habits have evolved, the city expanded digital options to maintain access to its programming.
Streaming apps now allow viewers to watch the Mentor Channel in high definition on Roku, Fire TV, Apple, and Android devices. Programming is also available on the Mentor Channel website and YouTube, allowing residents to watch city meetings and other content from virtually anywhere.
Download links and viewing information are available at thementorchannel.com. Residents who need help installing the app can contact the city’s Public Information Office for assistance.
📰 Mentor Seminar to Show Businesses How Foreign Trade Zones Can Cut Costs

City of Mentor
Business leaders in Northeast Ohio can learn how to reduce costs and improve supply chains at an upcoming Foreign Trade Zones seminar in Mentor.
The session will highlight the benefits of Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs), federally authorized areas where companies can store, manufacture, or process imported goods while delaying or reducing customs duties. These programs help businesses manage import costs, improve cash flow, and strengthen logistics operations.
Experts in international trade will explain how FTZs work, which companies benefit most, and how businesses can participate in an existing zone. Topics will include duty reduction strategies, tariff advantages for manufacturers, supply chain efficiencies, and customs compliance.
The event is designed for business owners, executives, financial leaders, and supply chain professionals and will also include a networking opportunity.
The seminar takes place on April 1st from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. and is presented by the City of Mentor International Trade Initiative, the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce, and MEACO.

Gray Hair? This Is How You Reduce It Naturally
Dye fixes gray hair… by giving you a new problem: looking dyed. Particle Anti-Gray Serum is the all-natural, non-dye, no-mess solution for men who want their real color back, not a recreation of it.
The 5-second daily spray works gradually at the root to restore pigment for natural, visible results on your hair and beard.
Unlike hair dyes that aggressively color your hair and require annoying upkeep, Particle Anti-Gray Serum is clean and extremely easy to use. It stimulates the melanin inside the hair and does not use artificial color.

🏀 Mentor Boys, Girls Teams Chase Postseason Glory in Saturday Showdowns
Mentor High School’s boys and girls basketball teams both face pivotal postseason games March 7, with each program aiming to advance deeper into the Division I tournament.
The Mentor boys team (16-8) meets top-seeded St. Edward (19-4) in the district final at 3:30 p.m. at Lakewood High School. The Cardinals advanced with convincing wins over Lorain and Toledo Whitmer, scoring 83 and 90 points in those games.
Mentor enters with one of the area’s highest-scoring offenses, averaging 79 points per game. The attack is led by Jack Kennedy and Tony Katava, who both contribute across multiple categories. Kennedy leads the team in assists and steals while also providing scoring punch, while Katava leads the Cardinals in rebounding and is another top offensive option.
Mentor’s pressing defense will be tested by a strong St. Edward lineup featuring senior standouts Bryan Vlosich, Zymir Knox and JT Kelsheimer, who also leads the Eagles in assists.
Earlier in the day, the Mentor girls team (24-1) faces Wadsworth (23-2) in the Division I regional championship at 1 p.m. in Barberton.
The Cardinals have won 23 straight games and advanced with tournament victories over Lorain, Toledo Whitmer and Canton McKinley, including a double-overtime semifinal win. Senior guard Nina Rodriguez leads the team in scoring at more than 19 points per game, while freshman Ashlyn McKinney and sophomore Keira Coleman have provided key contributions.
The Lady Cardinals are seeking their first trip to the state tournament since 1997.
