How One Wellness Brand Is Helping America Sleep Better
You know the importance of sleep, but actually getting enough is easier said than done. One wellness brand decided to study the problem and whether CBD could help.
CBD users have long reported feeling calmer and sleeping better, whether taking the compound by itself or with related hemp-derived compounds like CBN and THC. But rumor isn’t research, so CBDistillery conducted two sleep studies: a 2021 study into CBD and CBN, and a 2023 study with technology app Releaf into CBD, CBN and THC.
Study participants who took CBD and CBN reported falling asleep easier and sleeping an hour longer per night, on average. Study participants who took THC as well as CBD and CBN reported improved quality of sleep and waking up more refreshed the next morning.
Want to experience better sleep and still wake up refreshed? Try CBDistillery’s sleep solutions for yourself and save 25% with code SLP25.

🚨 Willoughby Narcotics Probe Leads to Prison Sentence
Following a narcotics investigation by Willoughby Police, a 43-year-old man, Robert Murton, was sentenced March 12 on multiple charges, including drug trafficking and possession, as well as resisting arrest, failure to comply, obstructing official business, and falsification.
The investigation spanned nine days in December, with detectives completing several controlled methamphetamine purchases. After the final transaction, officers stopped the suspect on Lost Nation Road.
During the stop, he provided a false name and refused to exit the vehicle, leading to a brief struggle. A search revealed suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, a digital scale, packaging materials, and cash tied to the investigation.
Authorities also confirmed an active felony warrant from Mentor Police. He was taken into custody, booked into the Lake County Jail, and later sentenced to a minimum of five years in prison.

🏀 Cavaliers Survive Late Bulls Rally Behind Harden’s Big Night
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Chicago Bulls 115-110 on Thursday night, powered by James Harden’s 36-point performance in the absence of Donovan Mitchell.
Harden connected on seven three-pointers, while Evan Mobley added 26 points and 14 rebounds. Jaylon Tyson contributed 18 points and 11 rebounds as Cleveland built a 29-point lead in the third quarter.
Chicago stormed back late, cutting the deficit to one with just over three minutes remaining. A timely three-pointer from Sam Merrill helped Cleveland regain control.
The Bulls had chances to tie in the final minute but missed key shots. Harden then sealed the win with a clutch jumper in the closing seconds.
Mitchell missed the game due to a bruised left eye suffered in practice. The injury is not considered serious, but he continues to deal with vision issues.
Tre Jones led Chicago with 20 points, while Rob Dillingham added 17. The loss marked the Bulls’ fourth in five games.

⚾ Guardians Face Tough Call on Nolan Jones as Opening Day Nears
As Opening Day approaches, the Cleveland Guardians face a key decision regarding veteran outfielder Nolan Jones. The team must choose whether to keep the 27-year-old or shift focus to a rising group of younger players expected to shape the franchise’s future.
Jones showed brief promise early in spring training, but his performance quickly declined. After a strong first outing, he managed only three hits in his next 30 at-bats while accumulating a high number of strikeouts. Among Guardians outfielders with consistent playing time, he ranks last in batting average and stands out for his struggles at the plate.
Meanwhile, younger players are making strong cases for roster spots. Prospects like George Valera and Chase DeLauter are nearing major league debuts, while Steven Kwan and Angel Martinez have delivered impressive spring performances, further crowding the outfield.
Keeping Jones would complicate roster decisions and could delay the development of emerging talent. Moving on would open the door for prospects to secure roles and help the team transition into a new era.
Additional players such as Petey Halpin and CJ Kayfus could also benefit from increased opportunities if space becomes available. With roster cuts looming, the Guardians must soon decide whether to prioritize experience or embrace their next wave of talent.
