🎰 Authorities Raid 2 Mentor-on-the-Lake Gaming Centers, Seize 80 Machines

MENTOR-on-the-LAKE, Ohio — Two gaming businesses in Mentor-on-the-Lake have been shut down after police and state investigators suspected illegal gambling activity.
Late last month, Mentor-on-the-Lake Police and the Ohio Casino Control Commission executed search warrants at Gamers Hub and The Zone. Authorities disabled about 80 gaming machines and seized cash during the operation.
Police said the businesses presented themselves as amusement centers or internet cafés offering “games of skill,” where prizes are legally limited to $10. Investigators said evidence instead pointed to alleged illegal casino operations and gambling houses.
No arrests were made during the raids, but officials said criminal charges are pending.
The crackdown marks the second time in two years that Mentor-on-the-Lake police have targeted local gaming businesses tied to suspected illegal gambling. City officials are now working on ordinance changes and other measures to prevent similar businesses from reopening.
Authorities across Northeast Ohio continue to monitor storefront gaming operations that resemble casino-style gambling while operating as skill-game businesses.

🚨 FBI-Assisted Sting Leads to Guilty Pleas in $93K Scam Case
WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — Three people have pleaded guilty in Lake County Common Pleas Court in connection with a large-scale scam targeting an elderly Willoughby woman, and police said the suspects are believed to be in the country illegally.
Willoughby Police said Bingzhi Deng, Xiaojing Wu and Long Zhang each pleaded guilty to attempted theft from a protected class and possessing criminal tools. Sentencing is scheduled for June 4 before Judge Patrick J. Condon.
Investigators said the case began in November after an elderly woman lost about $93,000 in a scam. Willoughby Police partnered with the FBI during the investigation.
In December, authorities conducted a sting operation in which the three defendants were arrested after allegedly accepting $40,000 in fake currency from the victim while under police surveillance.
A fourth suspect, Kanishq Patel, was later arrested and remains jailed on a $250,000 bond awaiting trial.
Police said U.S. Border Patrol informed investigators that Deng, Wu and Zhang are believed to be in the country illegally. Officials also credited the FBI and U.S. Secret Service for assisting with the investigation and urged residents to stay alert to scams targeting older adults.

🫁 Why You’re Out of Breath So Easily—And What’s Really Causing It
If climbing stairs, carrying groceries, or walking across a parking lot leaves you more out of breath than it used to, you’re not alone.
And contrary to what many people assume, it doesn’t automatically mean something is seriously wrong—or that you’re simply “out of shape.”
For many adults, especially those who spend long periods sitting or working indoors, the real issue is often a combination of deconditioning and poor breathing mechanics.
Here’s what that means.
When the body becomes less active over time, the heart, lungs, and muscles gradually lose efficiency. At the same time, many people begin breathing shallowly from the upper chest instead of deeply from the diaphragm. That creates a cycle where the body feels stressed more quickly during even moderate activity.
The result?
You feel winded faster than you should.
One of the biggest mistakes people make is trying to “push through” with intense exercise. That often backfires and leaves them discouraged.
A better approach is rebuilding endurance gradually.
Start with short, consistent walks—even 5–10 minutes at a comfortable pace. Focus on slower, deeper breathing through your nose when possible, and avoid rushing your pace just to “get exercise.”
This isn’t about athletic performance. It’s about teaching your body to become efficient again.
For many residents in Mentor, especially after years of sedentary routines, stress, or weight gain, stamina loss can happen slowly enough that people don’t notice it until everyday activities become harder.
The good news is the body adapts remarkably well when given consistent movement and better breathing patterns.
Small improvements done regularly often create more lasting results than occasional hard workouts.

Your body didn't forget how to make love
It just needs a powerful reminder. Rugiet Ready™ combines three proven medications—Sildenafil for blood flow, Tadalafil for staying power, and Apomorphine to prime your brain for arousal.
The result? An ED treatment that works in as little as 15 minutes, lasts up to 36 hours, and dissolves under your tongue so you're not waiting on a pill to digest.
No more second-guessing. No more "did I take it early enough." Just reliable performance when it counts.
Men who've tried everything else keep saying the same thing—this one's different.

Lake County added another run in the fourth before Dayton cut the deficit to 5-3 with two runs of its own.
The Captains pulled away in the sixth when Curley drew a bases-loaded walk and Walton added a two-run single. Tommy Hawke drove in another run with an RBI single in the seventh.
